Wurde das überraschend angekündigte Ende von Grant Morrisons und Liam Sharps „The Green Lantern“ Reihe jüngst erst noch von vielen Lesern betrauert, macht Morrison seinen Teaser für eine potentielle Fortsetzung der Handlung umgehend wahr und kündigt eine anschließende Mini-Serie an: „Green Lantern: Blackstars“
Während „The Green Lantern“ mit der 12. US-Ausgabe im Oktobersein Ende finden wird, soll die anschließende Mini-Serie gleich einen Monat später im November starten. Zumindest für den US-Markt.
Der überaus talentierte Schotte Morrison wird abermals als Autor auftreten, wobei Alejandro Germánico für die Zeichnungen verantwortlich sein soll. Liam Sharp wird derweil u.a. Cover zur Reihe liefern.
Die Story soll auf der Handlung der Vorgängerserie aufbauen und die Geschichte der Laternen buchstäblich umschreiben. Um das bereits angedeutete Ende von „The Green Lantern“ nicht zu spoilern, belasse ich es mal dabei. Also Vorsicht mit dem Beschreibungstext des Verlages am Ende des Posts.
Die 12-teilige Vorgängerserie „The Green Lantern“ wird übrigens im kommenden Monat auch endlich bei uns im Deutschen bei Panini Comics starten. Nach aktuellem Anschein wird die Serie insgesamt 2 Bände umfassen. Ich würde euch den ersten davon gern verlinken... aber ihr wisst ja, für den Panini Shop braucht man aktuell nen Mars-Rover.
